This Helly Hansen jacket is another favorite, though it does not differ much from the Elevation Infinity. The material and quality of this jacket are premium as well, though the fit is slightly tighter for those looking for a more fitted jacket shell.

It’s part of the Odin series, which is renowned for its top-tier performance. With a minimalist yet purposeful design, the Odin Shell is a lightweight and packable powerhouse that provides outstanding protection and flexibility for adventurers.

Due to the natural waterproofing of this jacket (that’s right, you never need to spray it), one complaint is that this jacket feels stiff and waxy at first. It does, however, break in over time and become more comfortable.

When considering functionality, as many outdoor enthusiasts do, it may make more sense to go with a looser fitting shell so that there is plenty of layering room underneath. However, finding this shell on sale is going to be much easier than the Infinity Elevation, making it the more price-conscious option when it comes to Helly Hansen shells.
