Heavenly Long Hooded Jacket Product

The Columbia Heavenly Long Hooded Jacket has a thermal lining that helps retain body heat without being bulky. The fleece-lined pockets and hood add an extra cozy touch.

The use of the thermal lining means the jacket is much thinner than its competitors, translating to an extremely lightweight and comfortable jacket. While Columbia’s Omni-heat technology does the trick while you’re keeping your body in motion, it might not cut it if you’re hanging around in below-freezing temperatures.

You’ll have plenty of size and color options to choose from, with sizes ranging from XS-3XL and colors that include both neutrals and vibrant hues. The body-skimming athletic cut is flattering while still offering room for some layering. Considering the quality and versatility of the Heavenly, we think the $160 price tag is pretty reasonable (you can currently get it on sale for as low as $120).

If you’re in need of a lightweight winter jacket that’s versatile, good-looking, and will keep you toasty on your daily errands and outdoor adventures, this jacket will make a great addition to your closet.

Womens Ava Alpine Insulated Columbia Jacket Product

The Women’s Ava Alpine Insulated Columbia women’s jacket is a winter essential that combines style with functionality. The jacket is designed with Columbia’s signature Omni-Heat™ thermal reflective lining, although it is recommended that you still layer up if wearing this jacket on the mountain.

Its waterproof and breathable fabric, coupled with critically sealed seams, keeps moisture out while allowing excess heat and perspiration to escape. With this being said, the jacket is thinner than others on the market and not suitable for extreme cold.

This jacket also comes in at a reasonable price point considering the features. The adjustable, removable hood and multiple pockets, including a ski pass pocket and interior security pocket, provide ample storage for your essentials. The one complaint with this jacket is that it runs small in sizing.

Overall, the Women’s Ava Alpine Insulated Jacket is the best option for someone who prioritizes both fashion and function. Its sleek, modern design and active fit make it a versatile addition to your winter wardrobe, equally suitable for mountain adventures and urban outings.

Let’s talk about the Outdoor Tracks Columbia jacket. It’s like your trusty sidekick for all things outdoors. What makes it stand out? Stretch and breathability. Whether you’re hiking, running, biking, or layering up to hit the slopes, this jacket has your back.

What’s cool is that this jacket doesn’t just do the job; it does it with style. The full-zip front makes it easy to layer over your favorite tee or sweater. Plus, it’s got a sleek design that’s perfect for both active pursuits and casual outings. It’s the kind of jacket that looks good and feels good.

The main complaint with the piece is it does run small. It also has a unique feel due to the material that feels slightly like matted fleece cotton balls. This may bother some folks, but for most, is easy to get used to.

Best Lightweight, Light Weather Jacket
Alpine Action Columbia Jacket Product

The Columbia Alpine Action jacket is a top-notch choice for outdoor enthusiasts looking for a bargain. This jacket has many features you would want on the mountain, although it isn’t overly warm or waterproof.

The nylon material makes for a fit that stretches and is adaptable, however, it makes the jacket not as warm or waterproof as other options that are 100% polyester. Overall, the jacket is quite comfortable, which is a plus. This winter jacket also includes features such as a powder skirt, storm hood, and zippered pockets. It looks like a ski jacket but isn’t bound to keep you warm and dry on the coldest and wettest of days.

Overall, this is a bargain for a Columbia winter jacket. It is lightweight and offers some features of a good winter jacket but not enough that we would recommend you use it in very low temperatures. It definitely doesn’t stack up to more high-quality winter jackets when it comes to warmth.

Specs & Features
  • Material: 72% nylon/28% polyester, 100g synthetic fiber insulation, Omni-Heat™ thermal reflective lining
