The Nolan is a 3-season softshell jacket that’s new to Spyder’s lineup this year.
Being that the Nolan is a shell, it is designed to be worn with additional layers when the going gets a little too chilly. That being said, soft shells are eons more breathable than that of their hardshell brethren. But if you ever feel like you’re working up a sweat, pit zips are easily opened to help regulate temperature.
The EXO Shield 10k polyester outer works to keep the elements out and warmth in, while a recycled fleece backer on the inside is softer on the skin, making it comfortable as a stand-alone jacket.
Built to rip corn on bluebird days as much as to keep warm during mud season, this soft shell is a jack of all trades.
