This kangaroo-style bib was a highly anticipated release that we couldn’t pass by without giving it a try. And oh boy did we enjoy it. We ought to warn you that the Hemispheres pants are on the expensive side. That said if you are willing to make a long-term investment that will provide you with a high return, give this model a careful consideration. The GORE-TEX shell paired with the Stretch Technology gives this item a superb level of waterproofness, breathability and comfort. You wouldn’t expect such a sturdy piece of equipment to be so lightweight, but it is. Throughout your entire day out skiing or snowboarding, you will be able to move freely without feeling overheated – thanks to the articulated knees and the thigh vents. No blizzard or well-below-zero kind of temperature will stand in your way of savoring the snowy slopes. Outdoor Research has even included a beacon pocket in the bib so that you will feel safe when the route gets tricky and the chance of avalanche becomes high.
